Kat Hollister is Director of Creative and Experience Design at Stanley Black & Decker’s Digital Accelerator. In her role, Kat manages the XD team and oversees the design of human-centered experiences that create digital transformation.
Before her current role, Kat led experience and creative design at Sapient Razorfish. During that time, Kat designed for clients such as Mercedes-Benz, T-Mobile, Delta Airlines and Microsoft.
Kat is an enthusiast of learning and continually seeks new opportunities to grow her skillsets as a director and designer. She recently led her extended team through IDEO Design Thinking coursework. She is an alumna of the Holographic Academy at Microsoft, a 6-month immersion course to develop skills related to AR design. During her time at Razorfish she spent a year focused on developing new working and ideation processes for the company that focused on utilizing themes of play to spur creativity as part of a specialized team.
Kat lives in Atlanta with her husband Daniel, a photographer / videographer. She was born in Giessen, Germany and spent the first 8 years of her life there and in the Netherlands. Outside of the office, Kat enjoys cycling, sound therapy and often travels to experience art installations that leverage physical environments in unique ways.
Kat holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design from Auburn University.
