Mike Keogh has worked in the tech industry for over 20 years. He’s a curious, life-long learner, and is interested in how technology can impact people’s lives. Mike joined Stanley Black & Decker in 2018 and is President of Stanley X, the company’s innovation team which Mike helped found.
Prior to Stanley Black & Decker, Mike was at Apple and Intel in strategy, finance and business development roles. Over half of that time was spent living in emerging markets, mostly in China. At Apple, he helped ensure the supply chain was in place to support the explosive growth of Apple products, led R&D finance supporting all hardware & silicon roadmap development and successfully negotiated a long-term tax incentive with the Shanghai government to grow Apple’s business there.
At Intel, Mike helped establish the first China Strategy office working with both government agencies and private sector partners to grow new business for Intel that was aligned with key areas of the country’s economic development. He also worked on many M&A transactions and led strategy for several business units.
Mike is an angel investor and holds several board and advisor positions. He also invests in real estate and has built a portfolio of university student housing, as well as some international properties. Mike holds a Master of Business Administration degree from Cornell University and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of North Carolina. He speaks conversational Chinese and Italian.
