Ray Fu joined Stanley X to lead internal design and incubation processes for launching new startups in construction tech, supply chain, and works closely with internal business and innovation leaders to identify big customer-centric problems and develop new digital products.
Ray started his career in management consulting, working in IBM’s digital strategy practice, focused on helping Financial Services and Industrial clients adopt new technology and introduce digital products. Ray then joined AIG’s newly created Automation and Digital Transformation team to work with business units to identify digital transformation initiatives totaling $25MM in annual benefits. Ray went on to serve as the Director of Strategy for AIG’s Global Business Services, a 5,000 person organization that provides company-wide services across Strategy, Digital Transformation, and Operations. Ray built and led the North America strategy team and helped business units launch new projects, invest in automation technologies (AI, ML, Robotics Process Automation), and operational improvements. In 2018, Ray left AIG to found Bento Insurance, a New York based startup that offered on-demand coverages for small businesses (SME market segment).
Ray has a Bachelor of Science degree from NYU Stern School of Business, focused on data analytics and entrepreneurship.
